We thank Almighty God for the life, teaching and pastoral care of our late Holy Father
Pope Benedict. As Vicar of Christ and Successor of St Peter his sound teaching guided the Universal Church and offered the world a new vision of Christ and the Gospel.
We remember with gratitude the visit he made to Scotland and the United Kingdom.
We offer our prayers for the happy repose of his soul.
Eternal rest grant unto to him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen
