DATA PROTECTION

From 25 May, the British law in relation to Data Protection has changed, and under the new General Data Protection

Regulations (GDPR) we must be in compliance with the regulations.   What does it mean for Holy Trinity and All Saints and St. Stephen’s.

We have on file, the names, addresses and phone numbers of various parishioners and people who support the parish  financially or by attendance at church. Your personal data will not be used by us for any other reason except the reason for which it was filed, e.g. Gift Aid or other fundraising projects. We have a custom of printing certain names in the bulletin, e.g. prize winners, etc. This will continue but no data will be provided to or shared with third parties.

Also, from time to time names/contact details may be printed in the bulletin in connection with specific functions/fundraisers but this will only be done at the named person’s request.
